Something to think about!

Meditation is something that we all do even without knowledge. Most people ponder about the situation they are in, such as fiance, sickness, family, job, country condition and so forth. I would like to suggest meditating or pondering on things more elevated. Matthew 6:25 "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Do we not need to be lifted up? Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-- if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-- think about such things. Can you think of any thing that fits in these categories? Consider Jesus and His Word, you will find nothing as lofty as His character. Be Blessed!

  1. That is such a fitting message for me. I worry about everything sometimes. And if I am not worrying and I realize it, then I think..."Hey, isn't there something I should be worried about..." And then I take a breath, say a prayer, and thank God for His promise! Thank you for this wonderful devotion!
    It reminded me before I got a chance to remind myself!
