Church service Sunday!

It was a great pleasure to have a Gideon share with the Church on Sunday. For those who don't know about the Gideon's ministry let me share. The Gideon's are professional Christian men who spread God's Word, the Bible, throughout America and the world. Every dollar they receive from Churches and individuals goes toward the purchase of Bible's. Each man in the organization pays his own travel expense and dues. Almost every person in America has been blessed by a Gideon, knowingly or not. Almost every Motel, Hotel, Hospital and nursing home has Bibles provided free by the Gideon's. I bet even you who are reading this has read or at least seen one of the Bibles placed. If I were not called to be a Pastor I would certainly pray about becoming a Gideon. I would encourage all of you to support the Gideon's in spreading the Word of God! Listen to what God says about His Word; Isaiah 55:10 As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, 11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. I do not know about you but I want to be partakers with the work of Bible distribution!
