Great Day we must consider Hell!

Great Day we must consider Hell lest we find ourselves in that most dreadful, fiery, mournful and Christless place! Many Christians have told me if I continue to preach repentance and about Hell, I will preach myself out of a job. I can tell you I would rather stay out of Hell and warn others how they can stay out of Hell than to avoid the issue of Hell! Does denying a place called Hell change the fact of its existence? No! Can you deny the existence of Evil? Honestly you must say No! So many today in the Christian Church want to hear only about the benefits of Christ and most do not want to hear about the consequence of refusing to repent and Trust Him. God Loves us and would never send a good person to Hell. Only preach on sunshine and lollipops so people will continue to come to Church. Tell me how good I am. Tell me how to feel better about myself. Tell me how I can know myself better. Tell me how to boost my self-esteem. Tell me how to love myself more. These are the Sermons most Churches preach in America today. Listen to the Word of God and do what it says: John 3:36 Whoever believes in the Son(Jesus) has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him." Matthew 4:17 From that time on Jesus began to preach, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near." Revelation 21:8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars-- their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death." 1Corinthians 6:9-10 Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. Acts 2:37-38 When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, "Brothers, what shall we do?" Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. I urge you to listen to the Words of God so Hell will not be your final destination! So am I preaching myself out of a job? I sincerely hope so! For the Holy Spirit compels me to speak the Truth regardless of your response! The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Christianity vs. Religion

I would like to share this article.
“Why are you Christians always sending missionaries overseas? People have their own culture, their own religion, why don’t you just leave them alone?!” This is one of the most common statements we hear as we lecture on college and university campuses throughout the United States and around the world. Students and faculty often jeeringly ask us, “What is so special about Christianity, different from every religion in the world?” To be sure, this is a very significant question; and probably one of the most significant questions that any Christian could ask themselves: what is so special about Jesus Christ?
Our family has a close friend named Lou. Lou grew up in the nation of Thailand and he was a Buddhist for the first 20 years of his life until he met some Christian missionaries who introduced him to Jesus Christ. If you were to ask Lou today, “What is so special about Jesus Christ and Christianity different from every other religion in the world?” Lou would share with you the following story:
“When I was a Buddhist I felt like I was in the middle of a large lake. I was drowning and I didn’t know how to swim. As I struggled to keep my head above water, I looked out towards the shore and saw Buddha walking up to the edge of the lake. I was going under for the third time, when suddenly Buddha began shouting out instructions to me, teaching me how to swim. Buddha shouted, ‘Kick your legs and paddle your arms.’ But then Buddha said, ‘Lou, you must make it to shore by yourself.’ As I desperately struggled to follow the instructions of Buddha, I looked out towards the shore again, but this time I saw Jesus Christ walking towards the edge of the lake. However, Jesus did not stop at the edge of the lake. Jesus dove into the lake and he swam out and rescued me! And once Jesus had brought me safely back to shore, then he taught me how to swim, so that I could go back and rescue others!” You see, this is the key difference between Christianity and every other religion in the world: Christianity is not a religion! What are religions? Religions are about human attempts to make our lives right with God, through our good works, sacrifices, rituals, and money. However, Christianity is not a religion. Christianity is about God entering human history to graciously save men and women through His Son Jesus Christ. It is only by placing our faith in Jesus Christ and submitting to his Lordship that we will be saved. Let us be sharing this Truth with everyone! Be Blessed in Jesus!

Boycott Pepsi!

Is this what our country has become? A bunch of spoiled, godless, filthy, shameful, lustful and self-centered Sodomites! I ask you how could you or I drink a Pepsi and not feel as if we were supporting a company such as this? O and it is worse, Pepsi owns Frito-lay as well. Next time you drink a Pepsi or eat a bag of Doritos just know you are partaking with a godless company! I know it is hard, but just know this; if God does not judge this Nation for its immorality, He will have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah! God have Mercy on us and give us the strength not to compromise Morality for the sake of our own selfish desires. In Jesus Name.

Pepsi has produced another TV ad not only promoting Pepsi but also promoting the gay lifestyle. Click here to see the ad.

Pepsi had released a similar ad before. The ads serve two purposes for Pepsi: to sell Pepsi and to promote the homosexual lifestyle. AFA asked Pepsi to remain neutral in the culture war, but the company refused - choosing to support the homosexual activists.

Pepsi has made no effort to hide their support for the homosexual agenda:

  • Pepsi gave a total of $1,000,000 to the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) and Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) to promote the homosexual lifestyle in the workplace.
  • Both HRC and PFLAG supported efforts in California to defeat Proposition 8 which defined marriage as being between a man and a woman. HRC, which received $500,000 from Pepsi, gave $2.3 million to defeat Proposition 8.
  • Pepsi forces employees to attend sexual orientation and gender diversity training where the employees are taught to accept homosexuality.
  • Pepsi is a member of the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce.

Church service Sunday!

It was a great pleasure to have a Gideon share with the Church on Sunday. For those who don't know about the Gideon's ministry let me share. The Gideon's are professional Christian men who spread God's Word, the Bible, throughout America and the world. Every dollar they receive from Churches and individuals goes toward the purchase of Bible's. Each man in the organization pays his own travel expense and dues. Almost every person in America has been blessed by a Gideon, knowingly or not. Almost every Motel, Hotel, Hospital and nursing home has Bibles provided free by the Gideon's. I bet even you who are reading this has read or at least seen one of the Bibles placed. If I were not called to be a Pastor I would certainly pray about becoming a Gideon. I would encourage all of you to support the Gideon's in spreading the Word of God! Listen to what God says about His Word; Isaiah 55:10 As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, 11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. I do not know about you but I want to be partakers with the work of Bible distribution! A wonderful story of God's supernatural hand in answering prayer.

Prayerfully Arranged Marriage
James Rutz, author of MegaShift, tells a wonderful story of God's supernatural hand in answering prayer.

"The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much" (James 5:16).

"I have a good friend named Barclay Tait who sells vacation real estate in Niceville, Florida. Back in 1977, he was a 36-year-old Florida basketball coach. That summer, he decided to hitch-hike to a Christian conference in Front Royal, Virginia. Arriving four days early, he went to a nearby forest and pitched his tent by a stream. On the last day, a tall, thin hiker with a notebook under his arm suddenly appeared, startling him as he read his Bible. Barclay explained that he came out there to fast and meditate.

Dave, the hiker, replied, "Well, I'm an intercessor. What would you like me to pray for?"

Feeling somewhat overwhelmed, Barclay said, "Uh, frankly, I'd like prayer for a wife." The man wrote the request in his notebook and walked on.

By 1988, Barclay, now married to Sherry, has been divinely guided to move to Asheville, North Carolina. A chance encounter in the Holiday Inn parking lot led to an invitation to join a gathering of a Christian group outside of town. Arriving just before the 7:00 P.M. meeting, the host walks in from the kitchen and stops dead in his tracks. "I know you!" he exclaims, pointing his finger. "You're Barclay Tait!" Barclay draws a blank.

"Just a minute. I have something I want to show you," the host announces. He scampers upstairs, leaving the puzzled Taits standing in the middle of the suddenly hushed room. In a moment the host reappeared with a well-worn ledger book. "See here? This is where I wrote your prayer request in column one when I met you in Front Royal in 1977: 'Barclay Tait: God's choice for a wife.'" Barclay looked down at the journal entry. It was the most detailed, methodical prayer journal he'd ever seen.

"I prayed for you for seven years," proclaims Dave. "Then in the middle of the night on December 30, 1984, God woke me up out of a sound sleep and said, 'Write in your journal, "Prayer answered." So I did. See? Here in column two, "Prayer answered.'"

Barclay and Sherry look at each other with their mouths open. They sat down, and their eyes fill with tears. Quietly, Barclay tells Dave, "That was the day we were married."

Sermon for Sunday 02\15\09

Just wanted to let everyone know who cares that the sermon got lost today. I went to save it and it was gone. OOPS not my fault lol. The Scripture was Psalm 19 focus was on last verse. Then I crossed reference it to Philippians 4:4-8. Also the previous devotion I posted went along with the message the Lord laid upon my heart today. Where was everyone? You were missed. Something to think about!

Meditation is something that we all do even without knowledge. Most people ponder about the situation they are in, such as fiance, sickness, family, job, country condition and so forth. I would like to suggest meditating or pondering on things more elevated. Matthew 6:25 "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Do we not need to be lifted up? Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-- if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-- think about such things. Can you think of any thing that fits in these categories? Consider Jesus and His Word, you will find nothing as lofty as His character. Be Blessed!

Input

Hello my family and friends. I am enjoying this blog and desire your input. Tell me something, ask questions, leave prayers, sassy remarks, your meditations, how your are doing, your concerns or anything else on your mind. I will tell you that I am concerned for my fellow countrymen. America is now a Socialist Nation and I wonder what is next. Everything in our constitution is under attack and no one seems to even know what our constitution says. Do you? We need to pray for our Country and one another as never before. We need to study our Bibles and live according to its teachings. We need to be waking up from our slumber and waking up everyone you know to the fact of God's wrath that is coming upon wicked and ungodly. There are National sins that God never overlooks. Study the Nation of Israel. They chose to turn their back on God's Commandments and turn to ungodly leaders who lead them into idolatry. As God caused Israel to be overtaken by the Babylonians because of their wickedness so God is allowing America to be in bondage to ungodly leaders. Daniel, Jeremiah, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego all followed God Commands but still was caught in the National sins of Israel. Please study and pray for we are approaching the time Jesus said just before He Returns. I love all of you and want you to know I am praying for the restoration of your souls as well as mine. Where are the Holy men of God?

Great Day we need Holy men of God to lead their families today! We live in a sinful and wicked world. Everything in the world; lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh and the pride of life, continually distract us from Holy living in Christ Jesus our Lord. Men, WAKE UP from your slumber and start leading your family in Spiritual matters! Listen to Holy Scripture: Ephesians 5:23-28 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing {26 Or } her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. You know men, the greatest thing you can do for your children is to love their mother. Love her as Christ loves us. Hear is where to start. 1. Commit yourself to living a Holy life in Jesus. Stop saying your to busy and don’t have time for Spiritual things. If you are too busy for Jesus and using providing for your family as an excuse for not getting involved in their Spiritual livelihood, then you are to busy. Consecrate yourself to Jesus and obey His Word. This is the way to Holiness.
2. Take them to a Bible believing fellowship. There are many available if you just pray about it and look for them.
3. Have prayer time with wife and kids. Quit making excuses why you can’t pray with your family.
O Heavenly Father, send your Holy Spirit to the men reading this, that they may see their God giving responsibility for their family. Help them to Love their wives as your Son Jesus loved the Church. Give them a Spirit filled Holy desire to live a Holy Consecrated life for the sake of their families and for Christ Sake Amen!

Need personal Revival?

Great Day it is a hard thing to keep refreshed Spiritually! Paul the Apostle encourages young Timothy: 2Timothy 1:6-7 For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline. From this passage it appears that we must also fan the flame of the Holy Spirit. This is done as Paul explains by the Spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline. Our Spiritual walk with Jesus depends upon our surrender to the Holy Spirit. Jesus said; Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. We must have a hunger and a thirst. Our refreshing also comes from love and self-discipline. Jesus spoke to the Ephesian Church in Revelation 2 that they forgot their first love and they needed to repent and do the things they did at first. This indicates being busy with the ministry without regards to the first thing of importance; our intimate relationship with Jesus! Our intimacy with Jesus is to our spirit as wood is to fire. Without wood there is no fire, without intimacy with Jesus there is no refreshing! How do we fan the flame? One important way to fan the flame is meditating upon the Word of God and obeying what it says. Hosea 10:12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you. The best way to plow up the ground of our hearts is the Living Word. This takes effort, time and self discipline. Here’s a question; do you need renewal? Do you feel your fire waning? Do you have a hunger and thirst for Jesus? A Hymn to remember; come to the Fountain so rich and sweet, cast thy poor soul at the Savior’s feet, plunge in today and be made Complete, Glory to His Name. Another is; Revive us again, fill each heart with thy Love, may each soul be rekindled with fire from above....Revive us again! Come Lord Jesus, Come Holy fire!!!

Real Change!

Great Day I have seen with my own eyes such marvellous changes of moral and spiritual character that I despair of none. I could, if it were fitting, point out those who were once unchaste women who are now pure as the driven snow, and blaspheming men who now delight all around them by their intense devotion. Thieves are made honest, drunkards sober, liars truthful, and scoffers zealous. Wherever the grace of God has appeared to a man it has trained him to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, and to live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present evil world: and, dear reader, it will do the same for you. Psalm 51:10 Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. I cannot make this change,รข says one. Who said you could? The Scripture which we have quoted speaks not of what man will do, but of what God will do. It is God's promise, and it is for Him to fulfill His own engagements. Trust in Him to fulfill His Word to you, and it will be done.

But how is it to be done? What business is that of yours? Must the Lord explain His methods before you will believe him? The Lords working in this matter is a great mystery: the Holy Ghost performs it. He who made the promise has the responsibility of keeping the promise, and He is equal to the occasion. God, who promises this marvellous change, will assuredly carry it out in all who receive Jesus, for to all such He gives power to become the Sons of God. Oh that you would believe it! Oh that you would do the gracious Lord the justice to believe that He can and will do this for you, great miracle though it will be! Oh that you would believe that God cannot lie! Oh that you would trust Him for a new heart, and a right spirit, for He can give them to you! May the Lord give you faith in His promise, faith in His Son, faith in the Holy Spirit, and faith in Him, and to Him shall be praise and honor and glory forever and ever! Amen.

Blessings for those who believe!

Blessed are you who believe and have not seen the Son of God! It is a wonderful blessing to hear this beatitude, but it is greater still to Believe in the One who spoke it! So many people in Jesus day wanted a sign or other manifestation of a miracle in order to believe the claims of Jesus. Is it any different in our day? Does any person reading this devotion know of someone who always wants a sign from God? If we examine this blessing from Jesus it is an assumption that it takes little or no faith to believe something you can see with your physical eyes. We know the Scripture that says “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” Hebrews 11:6. A few suggestions to address to unbelievers who want a sign is this; Jesus is not a showman but the Savior. He is not a genie but a Master Teacher! Jesus is not a Miracle worker, He is the Miracle giver! He is not a mere man but the God Man. All of us believers need to show our Faith not in words alone but in actions. James 2:17-18 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. But someone will say, "You have faith; I have deeds." Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do. If we are to be True witnesses of the Life changing Power of Faith in Jesus we must not only talk the Christian talk but walk the Christian walk. Do as Jesus did! Jesus said if I be lifted up I will draw all men to Myself. Honor Jesus, love Jesus, speak about Jesus and most importantly obey Jesus. John 14:21 Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him." The world is lost and needs to see Jesus in our lives! The greatest of all signs and miracles are the Transformed souls of believers. Be Blessed!
